GreenerFuture Leicestershire's Carbon Literacy workshop
GreenerFuture Leicestershire is an Innovate UK funded project to deliver carbon reduction services across the county and they are offering a free, fully accredited, in-person introduction to Carbon Literacy course.
Course details:

Time: 9am to 5pm

The course will cover:
- Up-to-date climate science and how it affects businesses
- The risks of climate change and sustainability legislation for SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises)

🙂Mental health First Aid training
Healthy Workplaces Leicestershire and Rutland is hosting a two day, online Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course, which will qualify attendees as Mental Health First Aiders.
Investing in mental health training fosters a supportive and productive workplace and will help employees recognise signs of poor mental health, start supportive conversations, and guide colleagues towards help.

Date: Tuesday 22 and Thursday 24 April 2025
Time: 9.30am to 4.30pm
Cost: £180

💡Leicestershire Innovation Festival 2025
The Leicestershire Innovation Festival 2025 takes place this week - from Monday 31 March to Friday 4 April and will offer free workshops, conferences and networking opportunities for local businesses.
The Event aims to boost productivity and foster innovation among SMEs in the region and is led by the Business Gateway Growth Hub.
Events will be hosted by prominent organisations such as; De Montfort University, British Business Bank, Innovate UK, University of Leicester, Charnwood Campus, and Loughborough University.

People, Planet, Pastry is a free, informal event hosted by Small99 - a company focussed on helping small businesses achieve Net Zero carbon emissions. Small99 offers a variety of services, to include; short workshops, full day courses, personalised consulting sessions and tools to measure and reduce carbon footprints.
Small99's 'Pastry' series encourages like-minded business owners to share insights around the action they are taking on sustainability and how it can be embedded into day-to-day operations.
Volunteer host, Alice Jackson, will be at the Bread and Honey café on Friday 11 April to meet others interested in sustainability, share local stories and ideas and accelerate local climate action.
