Thurlaston Parish Council has a unique opportunity for a small contractor or individual.

The Parish Council is looking for a contractor/handyman to complete task around the village on an ad-hoc basis. These jobs could vary from painting fencing, general groundworks, planting, fixing of signage, playground maintenance etc. The work would be sporadic, some months being several tasks, while other months there would be no tasks to be completed.

The individual we are looking for would need to hold the relevant insurance to complete such tasks on a self employed basis, and would be in a position to invoice the Parish Council on an ad-hoc basic when tasks are requested and completed. If this is something that you would be interested in, we would need the following information to be provided to the Clerk:

Hourly rate of pay

Copy of your liability insurance Examples of previous works completed

Any additional information you feel would be relevant to the position

CV or Cover Letter
